In 1994, Northline opened a small depot in Laverton North which neighboured an abattoir. Although not an ideal location, having a depot in Melbourne was a strategic move for the business.

In 1996 the first depot in Wetherill Park, Sydney was established before moving to Yennora a few years later. While the ’99s hailstorm caused billions worth of damage to the city, it didn’t deter Northline.

U Pack It moving service started
In 1997 Northline’s U Pack It moving service was established. The name was created out of simplicity – the customer packs their belongings without worrying about transportation.
