In early September, Northline held its annual employee awards ceremony in Adelaide, bringing together the quarterly winners from the 2022/2023 period.
The evening culminated in the announcement of the Employee of the Year for 2022/2023 which went to Blake West.
Blake was initially awarded Employee of the Quarter for the October – December period in 2022. As one of the 15 quarterly winners, he was then selected to be awarded the overall 2022/2023 Employee of the Year.
Based in Melbourne, Blake has worked for Northline since September 2018 when he commenced as a Receiving Officer. In December 2019, he was appointed to the role of AM Team Leader, in July 2022 to the role of AM Operations Supervisor, and in February of this year, he was appointed AM Operations Manager.
Blake was also presented with a Value Award for Safety on the same evening.
Other Value Award winners included Eric Nothnagl (Darwin) for Integrity, Joe Woods (Townsville) for Connected, Anthony Stenos (Sydney) for Customer Delight, and Rabi Katoua (Melbourne) for Innovation.
Northline would also like to congratulate Emma Collingwood for receiving the Chairman’s Award, to the Adelaide depot for receiving Branch of the Year, and to last year’s graduates Nicola South and Aslam Mohammed for officially finishing the program and securing permanent positions with Northline.
